Tony Zhu is a Master’s student in Biostatistics at Yale University, with a focus on statistical modeling and data science for biomedical applications. He has a strong quantitative background and is particularly interested in applying statistical and machine learning methods to high-dimensional health data. His recent work includes survival analysis and modeling of time-to-event outcomes, as well as statistical consulting projects where he translates complex data into actionable insights. He is especially interested in causal inference using real-world clinical data, including target trial emulation, and in developing models for applications such as drug repurposing. Tony is also interested in multi-omics data integration from a computational perspective, with a focus on combining heterogeneous data sources and extracting interpretable signals to better understand disease mechanisms. He is currently working on projects involving clinical and omics data, aiming to bridge statistical methodology with biomedical research.
