Qianyue Su (Helen) is a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She joined the lab as a summer research assistant, where she studies the therapeutic role of circRNAs in Parkinson’s disease using human midbrain organoids as an experimental model. Her research interests include using stem cell-based models to investigate disease mechanisms and identify potential therapeutic strategies. Helen hopes to contribute to future advances in diabetes research and the development of novel treatments. Outside of research, she enjoys hiking and spending time in nature.
